Members and invitations

Invite colleagues, change their roles and remove people who no longer need access.

Open Organisations and select the members icon next to an organisation. The page shows its Members, its Pending invitations and a form to invite new people. Every member can see this page; only Owners and Admins can change anything on it.

Invite people

In Invite new members, enter one or more email addresses. You can paste up to 50 at once, separated by commas, spaces or new lines.

Choose the role they'll get: Admin or Member. The same role applies to everyone in this batch.

Choose Send invitations. The results show which invitations were created. Addresses that failed stay in the field so you can try again.

Each person receives an email with a link that is valid for seven days. The link is only ever sent by email; it's never shown in the app.

Track invitations

Pending invitations lists invitations that haven't been answered yet. The Delivery column shows what happened to the email: Queued, Sent, Delivered or Failed. Delivery is separate from joining: an invitation leaves the list once the person joins or declines, or when it is cancelled or expires.

To cancel an invitation, use the cancel action in its row. Inviting the same address again while an invitation is pending doesn't send another email; cancel the old invitation first if you need a new one.

Accepting an invitation

The person opens the link, sees which organisation invited them, and signs in or creates an account with the invited email address. Signed-in users can also find pending invitations on the Organisations page and choose Join or Decline.

Change a role

Owners and Admins can switch other members between Admin and Member using the role selector in the members list. Nobody can change their own role, and the Owner role can only change through a transfer of ownership.

Remove a member

Owners and Admins can remove any member except the Owner and themselves. The person loses access straight away. Their uploads and analyses stay in the organisation, and the remaining members are notified.
