Question sets

Create and maintain the questions your meetings are analysed against.

A question set is the list of things you want to learn from a meeting, such as budget, decision makers or next steps. Every analysis answers exactly one question set, which you choose when you upload a transcript.

You'll find question sets under Analysis → Questionnaire. Owners and Admins can create and edit them; Members can read them.

Create a question set

Choose New set. If your organisation has no sets yet, the editor opens straight away.

Give the set a clear Set name, such as "Discovery call" or "Pilot review". You'll pick it by this name when uploading.

Add sections to group related questions, for example Budget or Decision process. A new set starts with a General section and one empty question. Use Add section for another group and Add question inside a section. Add standalone question adds a question that doesn't belong to any section.

Choose Save question set.

Make questions more precise

Each question has an optional Guidance & answer format panel:

  • Guidance (up to 500 characters) explains what counts as an answer, for example "only count amounts the customer approved, not estimates". Sections can have guidance too, which applies to all questions in them.
  • Answer format is Short answer (the default), List or Yes / No.

Shared context (up to 1,000 characters) applies to the whole set. Use it for abbreviations, the focus of the meeting or the language answers should use.

The writing guide shows how to turn broad questions into ones a transcript can answer.

Edit and remove

  • Change any text and choose Save question set. Use Discard changes to go back to the last saved version.
  • The trash button next to a question removes it; next to a section, it removes the section and all its questions.
  • Save or discard your changes before switching to another set.

Earlier analyses are safe

Saving creates a new version of the set. Analyses that already ran keep the questions they were run with, so editing a set never changes past results.

Use several sets

Every saved question takes part in the analysis; there is no way to switch individual questions off. If different meetings need different questions, for example a first call and a contract review, create a separate set for each and choose the right one at upload.
